1. Overview
Urgent Visa aims to describe package inclusions clearly before purchase. Refund eligibility depends on the service purchased, the date of the request, whether work has started or been completed, and whether third-party costs have been incurred.
2. Consumer cancellation period
Where UK consumer cancellation rights apply to a distance contract, you may have 14 days from the day after the contract is made to cancel. If you expressly ask us to begin work during that period, you may be required to pay a reasonable amount for services already supplied. The right to cancel can be lost once a service is fully performed with the required acknowledgement.
This section is a general summary and does not reduce any mandatory statutory rights.
3. Services not started, started or completed
- Not started: a full refund of our consultancy fee will normally be considered when a valid cancellation is received before any work begins.
- Partly completed: any refund may be reduced to reflect assessment, communication, forms, checklists, bookings, document work or other services already provided.
- Completed or delivered: fees are normally non-refundable once the agreed service or digital work has been fully supplied.
4. Appointment-related services
If a written service specifically promises a refund where we do not complete a defined appointment-related task within an agreed timeframe, that written promise will apply. Availability controlled by an embassy, consulate or visa centre is not itself guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing.
5. Non-refundable third-party charges
Unless the relevant provider agrees otherwise, the following are normally non-refundable through Urgent Visa: embassy or immigration fees, visa-centre fees, biometric fees, insurance premiums, airline or hotel charges, courier fees, translation fees, payment processing costs and other third-party expenses already incurred.
6. Visa refusals and official decisions
A visa refusal, shorter visa validity, delayed decision, request for additional documents or border refusal does not automatically create a right to a refund of consultancy fees. Our service is preparation and support; the official authority independently decides the application.
7. Changes caused by the client
Additional work caused by changed dates, destination, passport, personal circumstances, missing information or repeated revisions may be chargeable. A refund may be reduced where work must be repeated because information supplied was inaccurate or incomplete.
8. Requesting a refund
Send the request to info@urgentvisa.co.uk with the applicant name, payment date, package or service, order or payment reference, reason for the request and any relevant evidence. We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and may ask for further information.
Approved refunds will normally be returned to the original payment method where practical. Bank and payment-provider processing times may apply.
